.School Chaplain – Part Time 0.4 FTE

Mountain District Christian School is a P-12 Christian community located in Monbulk, in the beautiful Dandenong Ranges with an enrolment of 225 students. Applicants are invited with qualifications in Youth Work or equivalent and who are interested in working in a small school environment and are able to agree with, and actively support the Christian ethos of the School, are invited to apply for the part time position of Chaplain commencing January, 2010.

.Appointment of Head of Secondary for 2010

We are pleased to announce to Mr Paul Onley has been appointed as our new Head of Secondary, commencing in 2010. Together with his family, Paul will be moving to Victoria from the A.C.T. at the end of this year to take up this leadership position at MDCS.

.Winner of HabitAT Schools Action Award.

MDCS has won the Action category of the HabitAT Schools award from the Shire of Yarra Ranges. Our school takes seriously the commitment and education about care for the local environment.

.Completion of our Court playspace.

Completion of our Court playspace. The old asphalt area at MDCS have been totally upgraded, adding an additional court and covering the entire surface with beautifully colourful and bouncing Astroturf! Students are enjoying the extra space and the great surface.
