School fees are set on a sliding scale, which is geared for full family enrolment. This assists lower income families to access a Christian education for their children. The fee scale is reviewed each year.
For 2009, our fees have been dramatically reduced for primary students in particular. New families, enrolling at least one child in primary are offered a $1,000 rebate from their first year's fees! Speak to our Enrolment Officer for more details.
As MDCS desires to serve the families and the Christian Community of our district who desire a Christ centered education for their children, every effort is made to keep our fees affordable for each family. Family assistance is offered where necessary.
MDCS School fees are a ‘one off’ inclusive fee covering everything practically necessary for your child/ren’s education, including all compulsory camps, all compulsory excursions and all stationery and textbooks. The only items not included in school fees are Years 11 & 12 textbooks, a Secondary Sports T-shirt, plus a once only refundable family investment of $400.

Part of our school’s charm is that it lies secluded in a magnificent bush setting. A large number of the students come to school on our own buses.
Our buses service the following areas:
Avonsleigh, Belgrave, Belgrave South, Cockatoo, Emerald, Ferny Creek, Gembrook, Kallista, Macclesfield, Menzies Creek, Monbulk, Mt.Evelyn, Olinda, Sassafras, Selby, Silvan, Tecoma, The Patch, Upwey, Wandin, Woori Yallock, Yellingbo.
2009 bus fees are $420 per student.
