Mountain District has well equipped facilities developed over the school’s 30 year history.

The library is centrally located serving both the Primary and Secondary sections of the school. The main section of the library houses the printed material collection as well as having a space for students to work in small groups and a semi-circular reading pit with audio-visual capabilities. Adjoining the library is a networked computer room supporting research and information skills.

Mountain District values an approach to education that celebrates the diverse gifts of the student body. While a small school it enjoys modern specialist areas for Art, Food Technology, Horticulture, Indonesian, Music, Secondary Science and Wood Technology.

Our Multipurpose Room is the site for school assembly and functions as well as providing a space for Drama and Physical education.
.outdoor
Outdoor play and sport are essential for a healthy lifestyle. Mountain District Christian School has a variety of play spaces for students to both learning and enjoyment. The Primary School play spaces include three play grounds, a sandpit and areas where children are free to build small cubbies and forts. The school has a sports oval (currently being upgraded) and four asphalt courts for a range of sporting and play activities such as bat tennis and basketball.

Mountain District Christian School has one main general purpose computer laboratory. Equipped with 26 student computers, an interactive whiteboard and data projector. The computer room is a popular interactive resource support teaching and learning at MDCS. In addition there are also networked computers for personal study and research in the VCE Centre, Library and selected Primary and Secondary rooms.

Students undertaking VCE at Mountain District have access to a Senior School study room adjacent to the Senior School staffroom with networked computers supporting study and research. A Senior School common room with a functional kitchenette is available for students to relax and enjoy a break from the rigors of study.
